Ok, my son is definitely not a newborn (he's 2!), but I took him to an osteopath recently for a consultation about his chronic constipation. He's usually very fussy about who he goes to and who he trusts. The osteopath spent about 30 minutes just massaging his tummy and he loved it!

I love giving my baby massages. I took a class before my first son was born. It is such a great bonding time and a great way to get baby ready for bed.

I took an infant massage class a long time ago when my 1st set of twins were born and at first I kinda thought it was silly but...wow....it really made a difference, esp with Bella who had colic! I really looked forward to that quiet time after their bath when I would sit on the floor with each of them doing their nightly massage as we listened to quiet music. I actually kinda miss it now that they're older!
