I have always been interested in the world of marketing and how/why people purchase what they do.  Before mommyhood hit, i was going to school to get my degree to pursue marketing.  Now that i have begun to conquer on my own, outside of the boardroom, the beginning of marketing for Vogue Mum stirs within me those happy, excited memories of the strong, powerful woman i wanted to become.

Many companies spend millions on advertising (why else do we watch the Super Bowl?).  So what about the little guy who is starting out and doesn’t have the ‘big bucks’?  Online there are numerous different resources and they are all free!!  Imagine my excitement when i began to dive in!  We all know about MySpace (or at least heard about  it).  One reason i love OSI Rock Stars! There are many classes on the subject of marketing.  Have you ever heard of Squidoo?  This site is incredibly fun and too much to explain so just go check it out!  I am beginning to get into so many more lesser know sites like StumbleUpon, Pownce. and Del.icio.us.  I know, after you have visited my pages, you are thinking, “not much going on”.  It is all a work in progress so bear with our learning curves.  Bookmark these sites and keep visiting them to see our changes.  We are super excited at all the possibilities and always in forward motion.
